NUCO Travel accepts all major Debit/Credit Cards.

As a tourist, and if you hold a UK passport, you do not require a visa for short trips to the EU countries where NUCO Travel operates after the 31st of December, you’ll be able to stay for up to 90 days in any 180 days.

Importantly though, please make sure you have at least 6 months on your passport at the time of travelling and be able to show at border control a return or onward ticket and that you have enough money for your stay.

The Schengen Area covers most of the European Countries. A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa that allows a person to travel to any member of the Schengen Area, for stays up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes.

The Schengen visa is the most common visa for Europe. It enables its holder to enter, freely travel within, and leave the Schengen zone from any of the Schengen member countries. There are no border controls within the Schengen Zone.

They would recommend applying for your VISA as soon as you confirm your NUCO booking as it can take some time to arrange an interview with the relevant embassy.

All passengers who require a Schengen VISA for their holiday must apply for this themselves. NUCO can and will provide supporting evidence and confirmation for your trip, on request, to assist you with this.

Please email their customer service team at info@nucotravel.com, after you have created and confirmed your booking, with your booking reference number requesting your holiday details to assist you in applying for your VISA, they will then be able to supply you with a document containing the following information:

Passenger name

Group name

Booking reference

Travel Dates

Resort

Mode of transport

Countries you will travel through

Accommodation

Accommodation contact number and address

Travel insurance provider and policy number

Total package cost

Total package paid

As your booking is part of a group booking NUCO does not issue individual passenger booking invoices other than the original booking confirmation email, this means they will not be able to provide you with any documentation directly from their suppliers for any transport or accommodation.

If your VISA is denied NUCO Travel will not be held liable for any costs already paid towards your NUCO holiday booking.

They want your holiday to be as enjoyable as possible but they know from time to time things may not go as planned, even with the best organisation and best-laid plans.

In the unlikely event you are unhappy with any aspect of your holiday or customer experience they aim to resolve this as quickly as they possibly can.

By letting them know straight away they can try to resolve and remedy any issue quickly so you can get back to enjoying your holiday.

If you are currently in a resort please contact your NUCO representative or NUCO head office with as much detail of your issue as possible and they will do what they can to assist and resolve this for you.

If you are not in the resort please complete their register a complaint form and they will come back to you as soon as possible and within 7 days.

Unless stated as included at the time of booking, a damage deposit or card pre-authorisation will be required at your accommodation agency on arrival.

If you are due to be arriving in to resort late, this will need to be provided before your arrival or the following morning.

The damage deposit amount can vary for resorts and different accommodation agencies and can range from €150 total to €200 per person. You must have funds available on a credit or debit card for this. Usually, the sum is held against the card and no money is taken however if you have any questions you should check with reception before you travel.

Most European resorts also require visitors to pay a ‘tourist tax’. This is not included in the cost of the holiday and must be paid for in the resort. The tourist tax amount will be between €1 for budget accommodation - €3.5 for a 5* accommodation per night per person.

For example, a group of 4 may be required to pay between €28 - €98 tax in total for 7 nights of accommodation.

Failure to pay this will result in a loss of deposit.

Car parking will also be an additional cost and can be requested directly from their team.
