LARGE or HEAVY PARCELS: From £10 if over 30kg or over 1.5m in any plane

Please note that they only offer delivery to mainland UK. N.Ireland, Ireland and all other UK Islands are excluded from delivery. FRAGILE PARCEL DELIVERY:

Some extremely fragile items may require a specialist delivery to avoid damages. Fragile parcel additional charges are from £10 and charges are calculated in the checkout.

SPECIALIST DELIVERY: £59.95

Applies to large items for example; kitchen appliances, fitness equipment, fires and/or furniture. Only one £59.95 charge per order. Please note that in some instances for online orders they may use a courier to supply larger items rather than their own Leekes fleet. Sadly this will mean that there is a limited service and they would be unable to offer any disposal/collection of goods, products and waste. Assembly is also not available for online orders outside of their standard store delivery area.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGE: £59.95

Some larger items will require additional support when delivered due to their weight, fragility or the technical nature of the product. These items include some range cookers, American side-by-side fridge freezers and some supplier direct deliveries. To ensure these items reach you in showroom condition there will be an additional delivery charge of £59.95. This charge will be clearly displayed on the product page, in your basket and at the checkout. The additional delivery charge will normally be applied with the specialist delivery charge. The additional delivery charge is considered per item.

AGE VERIFICATION REQUIRED ON DELIVERY: From £2.50

Some products may require proof of age and a signature on delivery. This information will be detailed on the product and at the check-out. An additional delivery charge will be applied for this service. Orders over £50 will incur a charge of £2.50 and orders under £50 will be £7.50.

DELIVERIES TO THE WORKPLACE OR SHARED ADDRESSES:

Please be aware that their carrier will not ask for you in person. Your delivery will be made to reception or concierge where possible. Please do not order for delivery to the workplace or shared address if you feel that it is not secure as they cannot accept liability for a successfully signed delivery that does not subsequently reach you. Charges:
Delivery must be to an address in the United Kingdom. Please note there will be an additional delivery charge for the Scottish Highlands and Island postcodes. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Whilst they try to accommodate delivery to work/ alternative addresses, for your first order they reserve the right to refuse delivery to addresses other than the billing (registered card holder) address. In this instance, they will make every effort to contact you. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

Delivery is FREE for orders over £50 with the following exceptions:

• There will be an additional charge of £59.95 for orders that require a specialist delivery. Items requiring specialist delivery are kitchen appliances, fitness equipment, fires and/or furniture (only one £59.95 charge will be applied per order).
• Orders under £50 will incur a delivery charge of £5.00 and will be subject to the additional charges outlined above where applicable.
• Orders requiring age verification will incur a surcharge of £2.50.
• If your initial order value qualifies for free delivery and the non-faulty goods are returned of a value that takes their remaining order value to less than the prevailing free delivery threshold at the point of your initial order, then the applicable delivery charge will be deducted from your refund.

Packaging:
Wherever possible they try to recycle packaging. This will on occasion mean that the packaging in which you receive your order may not represent the contents. If you feel that you may have received the wrong item(s) please check the contents of your parcel before contacting Customer Care.

Please note, where packages may contain contents that may spill, i.e. paint or wood care these should be opened away from any surfaces that may react due to contact with paints or solvent type material. Leekes are not liable for any damages resulting from any spillage or content damage.

Some items are fragile in nature and whilst they do their best to ensure that packages arrive to you safely, some damages may occur whilst the parcel is in the delivery network. Please open all fragile items with care, including; mirrors, crockery and other such products. Leekes are not liable for any personal injuries that may occur when opening these parcels.

How They Deliver:
Smaller products are generally delivered by courier or by post.

If your product is to be delivered by courier, you may be given the option of choosing a premium delivery service for a small extra charge during the order process.

For larger products, you will be contacted by their customer service team to arrange a suitable time for delivery when your goods are ready to be dispatched. Delivery of larger products will require a specialist delivery and take place between 7.30am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.

Products may be sent out from multiple locations and therefore may arrive separately, but you won’t incur additional delivery charges as a result.

Please note that delivery arrangements may differ if you choose a product deliverable direct from the manufacturer. You will be contacted by the manufacturer directly if this is the case.

If you’d like to have items sent to separate addresses, please complete a separate order for each address. Separate delivery charges will apply to each address.

Accepting Delivery into Your House:
It is your responsibility to ensure that goods will fit and pass through all doors, hallways, paths and steps up to the property etc. In order to minimise the likelihood of damage it is your responsibility to ensure that access routes are clear and floors are covered to prevent damage. They cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused to your home or goods. It is your responsibility to inspect your goods upon receipt and to reject delivery if the goods are damaged or if there is a visible fault.

Delivery Times:
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding Bank Holidays). If you order after 12.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day.

Parcel deliveries will normally take 1 - 4 days to be delivered (to be safe, please allow a little extra time during busy sale periods such as Black Friday). You will receive an email when your delivery is dispatched that will contain a link to the courier’s website, and a parcel number, so that you can track your order right to your doorstep.

Parcel deliveries are usually made between 7.30am and 6pm. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, the courier will leave a card with a contact number for you to call.

If you choose a product which is delivered by courier, you may be offered the option of paying a small extra charge for a premium delivery service. In this case, your product will be delivered on the date and time specified. All deliveries must be signed for.

Leekes Specialist Large/Heavy Item Delivery Services:
(a) As previously stated orders that include white goods, fitness equipment, fires and/or furniture will require a specialist delivery at a cost of £59.95. This cost will be applied to all orders regardless of the total order value. The specialist delivery service includes:

• Delivery of goods to your room of choice, where reasonable.**
• Unpacking of goods and the removal of all packaging. In the event that you do not wish the goods to be unwrapped, they will ask you to sign a brief disclaimer to acknowledge this decision.
• Inspection of the goods for any damage or faults.
  Where, in the opinion of their delivery crew, there is a problem with access, either due to size or weight issues, then delivery will be completed to the customer’s door only and is only applicable for deliveries on Leekes fleet. When placing an online order, the goods may be delivered by courier and therefore will be a standard delivery only with no additional service being provided.(b) In addition to the parcel service described above they can offer a number of additional services to limited locations only. Please call them on 0333 2224120 after placing your order to arrange any of the services below:
  • Guaranteed Saturday delivery can be arranged for an additional fee of £10 to selected areas.
  • Collection of an old electrical appliance for recycling carries an additional cost, this varies according to the size of the appliance for collection. Goods must be returned correctly packaged. Interested in this service? Please email them with your order number at customercare@leekes.co.uk
    Tracking Your Order:You can track the progress of your order by logging in and then going to ‘My Account’. They will inform you if there are likely to be any unexpected delays. Your despatch notification email will contain additional tracking links to the website of the carrier that will deliver your goods.Disconnection:Your old appliance should be safely disconnected prior to their arrival.Scrap Collection:For many larger products, they offer to remove your old appliance for a small extra charge. IMPORTANT: Your old appliance must be empty. Fridges/freezers must be fully defrosted. Your old appliance should be safely disconnected prior to their arrival.Missing or Incorrect Orders:If you do not receive all your products please check that they have been despatched by using their tracking facility (simply log in and then go to My Account). If your order is not en route to you, please email them or ring them on 0333 2224120.Your Right to Cancel:In accordance with the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013, you may cancel your contract within 14 days of delivery.

Complete their online form at the bottom of this page including: order number, product description, the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or a replacement.

They will then email or phone you back to advise you of the required method of return. They will either send you Leekes Authorised Return Docket or they will arrange for a vehicle to come to collect the product you wish to return. You will be charged for this service. All collections must be made on Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. They are unable to make weekend collections.

If they find that the product has not been returned to them in fully resalable condition, they reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item

Claims for missing/damaged items for online purchases

Missing items from parcels and or damages must be reported within the first 7 days of purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all goods are checked within the first 7 days and that Leekes are notified via email to customercare@leekes.co.uk. After the first 7 days, claims for missing items and or damages will not be offered.

1. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, you may do so by contacting them at customercare@leekes.co.uk or call them on 0333 2224140. You must do this as soon as possible. If the order has already been packaged and arrangements have been made for it to be sent out to you, then they may not be able to cancel the delivery.

2. Non-faulty Goods Returns procedure

Should you wish to return anything bought from them, they will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in a fully resalable condition. Returns should be requested within 14 days of receipt and returned within a further 14 days in original, undamaged packaging. Your product must be complete, unused and in ‘as new’ condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories. Goods are returned at your expense and the original delivery charge is non-refundable. No refund will be issued until the goods have been received and inspected by them. If your goods are specially ordered or made to measure they are non-returnable. Special Order goods can be identified by checking the delivery time shown for the product. If your product is shown with a delivery time of over 2 weeks, then it is a Special Order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Special Conditions For Hygiene Reasons:

Please note that for reasons of hygiene they cannot accept non-faulty returns of the items below if they have been used in any way at all. If such items have been used and are returned to them they will be unable to refund your purchase and they may dispose of your goods. Please, therefore, use the return request form to request a return and to ensure that your refund is processed as quickly as possible. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Damaged items

On receipt of your purchase, you should check all items to ensure that they are in perfect condition. If you find that an item is damaged, you should notify them immediately and they will arrange for a replacement. Please note that you must advise them of damage within 48 hours of delivery. All collections must be made on Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. They are unable to make weekend collections.

4. Return of Faulty Goods

They guarantee that all of their products are of merchantable quality in accordance with your statutory rights. If an item develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, on verification of the fault they will arrange for a refund, exchange or repair.
If your product develops a fault after 30 days, but within 6 months of your date of purchase, then they will arrange for it to be repaired or replaced. If they are unable to repair or replace your goods, then they will arrange a refund. All collections must be made on Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. They are unable make weekend collections.

5. Cancellation or Return of Made-to-order products

Should you wish to cancel your made-to-order product for any reason you have 7 days following order confirmation to do so. Should you wish to return your made-to-order product you have 14 days following delivery to return the goods. If your goods are custom made - i.e. to your dimensions or specifications, such as made-to-measure curtains - your goods may not be returned.

6. Returning Goods

Returning goods outside the prevailing consumer protected rights are not an entitlement and must be agreed by Leekes. As detailed in their returns policy, which is available online or in store, goods which are specially ordered or made to measure are not returnable. Any refunds issued for returned goods will be subject to a deduction for any costs incurred. An additional collection charge will be made if you require them to collect the goods. All refunds for delivered products will be administered from their Customer Service Department at their Head Office and are not actioned in store. In the event of an intermediary company be used to transport your order overseas, Leekes would only be liable for returns to the intermediary address and no onwards costs would be covered.

*None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty, or not as described.
