Reservations made by phone or through a travel agent 

When you submit a booking inquiry, Alfa Travel will hold your vacation for three days (or one day if the inquiry is made within six weeks of the departure date). If you want to confirm your reservation, you must pay a £50 deposit per person plus your insurance cost within the next three days. Alfa Travel shall stop holding the holiday for you if Alfa Travel do not collect the balance in full within that time frame. You must pay the remaining balance due 42 days before departure (without more reminders from Alfa Travel).

Reservations made via the internet 

When booking online, it is not feasible to create a tentative reservation. Payment must be made using a credit or debit card online. The deposits are the same as those shown above for bookings made by phone or through a travel agent. You can select to have your balance payment deducted from your account automatically on the due dates listed below. You must pay the balance of money due (without any further reminder from Alfa Travel) 42 days before departure if you do not select the option to automatically collect payment from your card. All Reservations 

When Alfa Travel send you a booking confirmation, your reservation is confirmed. At Alfa Travel’s sole discretion, Alfa Travel have the right to return your deposit and refuse to issue a booking confirmation. When Alfa Travel send you or your agent a booking confirmation, which confirms the specifics of your booking and is sent to you or your agent, a binding contract will be formed between you and Alfa Travel. If your booking confirmation or any other document is erroneous, you must notify Alfa Travel as soon as possible since modifications cannot be made later, and if Alfa Travel are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within ten days of Alfa Travel’s sending it out, it may jeopardise your rights (five days for tickets).

If Alfa Travel do not receive this amount in whole and on time, Alfa Travel retain the right to deem your reservation as cancelled, in which case the cancellation fees listed below will apply. Approximately 10 days ahead of departure, travel tickets will be forwarded. Because local pick-up times are regularly rescheduled, you must double-check the time on your trip ticket rather than relying on your original confirmation.

If You Need to Cancel Your Reservation Before Departure

You must notify Alfa Travel in writing if you or any other member of your party decides to cancel your confirmed reservation. Your cancellation notification will only be effective once Alfa Travel receive it in writing at Alfa Travel’s offices, and it will be effective from the date Alfa Travel receive it. If one or more members of a group cancel, the per person holiday fee for those who are still travelling may increase, and you will be responsible for paying this increase.

Because cancelling your plans incurs costs for Alfa Travel, you must pay the following cancellation fees:

Important Note: Certain arrangements may not be changed or cancelled once they have been confirmed, and any change or cancellation may result in a charge of up to 100% of that component of the arrangements, in addition to the amount above.

You may be able to recuperate these costs if the cause for your cancellation is covered by your insurance policy’s terms. Alfa Travel will deduct the cancellation fee(s) from any cash you have previously paid to Alfa Travel, if possible.
